Hello everyone! Welcome to Holy Mass and More! My name is Nate. I am a musician in Seattle, as well as a traditionalist Catholic. I go to a parish served by the Priestly Fraternity of Saint Peter (FSSP) and am a steadfast supporter of the FSSP. I am not a priest or member of a religious order, just a simple lay person. I was raised as an Episcopalian and became Catholic at age 15. Even before I became Catholic, I had a great interest in and devotion to the liturgy. This interest eventually led me to the traditional Latin Mass, which was what brought me into the Catholic Church. For those interested in Myers-Briggs personality types, I am an INTJ.
This blog, Holy Mass and More, covers a variety of Catholic topics, but our main focus is on traditional sacred liturgy. The liturgy is the regular, public worship of the Church, which consists of the Mass, the Divine Office, and the sacraments. Through these, the Church offers her praise, worship, sacrifice, and supplication to God, and God gives the Church his infinite grace. Thus, it is important to study, understand, and participate in the liturgy. I started this blog in order to help others do so.
